01/20/11- Paula's Eating/Exercise Journal: Thursday

by Paula (Clean Eating Expert) 21. January 2011 16:53

Every day the news is filled with conflicting reports about whether organic foods are worth the hype. My philosophy is that there are some products worth the costs, and others aren’t worth the costs.  The ones that are more important to buy organic are:

1. Milk

2. Spinach

3. Potatoes

4. Apples

5. Peaches

6. Raspberries

5. Strawberries

6. Important grapes

The ones that should be safe are:

Avocados, pineapple, watermelon, grapefruit, mango’s, kiwis (all have a thicker skin around), onions, sweet corn, asparagus, pea’s cabbage, broccoli, tomatoes, sweet potatoes (Gluten free Living Magazine-Nov).

Also, be mindful that free range beef, and chicken are better for you as well as bison, and venison.  Also try eggs that are fortified with omega-3’s to get the most put of your protein.
