There are many different techniques to enhance a smile. If the teeth are properly shaped, but misaligned then Invisalign orthodontics is the best choice. If the teeth are properly shaped and aligned but a little yellow then bleaching would make sense.
However there are many instances where the alignment is not very good and the overall shape, size, and color of the smile is not pleasing. What then?
In the past the only solution was either crowns or porcelain laminates. Either of these two techniques involved fairly significant tooth reduction to create an aesthetic result.
But recent improvements in porcelain technology have created a very significant breakthrough.
The process is prepless veneers. We can now create a terrific smile by bonding onto the front teeth contact thin veneers that are excellent at changing both the color and shape of the smile.
